Muncie YART Sale
Thursday, May 1st 5 - 9pm Open & Free for all!
YART is a Yard Sale for Art. We keep the yard sale vibe going by having the
sale outdoors and keeping all art priced under $40. YART is held twice a
year, in May and October, in Downtown Muncie, in the parking lot of Old
National Financial on the corner of Walnut and Charles Streets.
There is no charge to sell at YART, and YART does not take a cut of your
sales. Each artist has about a parking space to set up in. Artists manage
their own sales and set up their own displays. It's often very windy, so
keep that in mind. Many artists make art live during YART!
YART is an all-volunteer/no-budget event and I am very grateful to Cheryl
Crowder of the Muncie Downtown Development Partnership for support and the
donation of YART poster printing, Old National Financial for the donated
use of their parking lot, and to The Artist Within, Inc. for being great
The 2014 Spring Muncie YART will be held at the same time as the May 2014
First Thursday Gallery Walk throughout Downtown Muncie. There is a LOT
going on with art shows, live music, food, and community fellowship. The
Caffeinery has just opened across the street from the YART lot too. This
will be a really fun night for everyone and it's great to support local
Please "Share" this and encourage artists to sell at YART and buyers to
