The Bureau of Labor Statistics has named Muncie as the #8 top city for job growth. Talent Tribune reported on the achievements of the top 10 cities, read Muncie's blub below. 

Muncie, Indiana, home to Ball State University and the birthplace of the Ball Corporation, ranks number 8 on our list. Muncie added 2,100 jobs between August 2013 and August 2014, for a total job growth of 4.1%. Starting in the 19th century, Muncie’s economy was driven largely by the manufacturing of steel and glass. Today, Munsonians can find work in health care, education, retail, and other service-related industries.
